About the event

We will learn about different types of paper and pencils (including charcoal) used in graphite drawing. We will practice shading with different pencils to learn the softness and hardness of graphite. We will also review different types of shading techniques. Children will then practice these techniques on a drawing of their choosing. They may bring a refernce to draw, or draw along with the instructor.
